WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF THE AFICIONADOS


The Aficionados, a new unique fine dining destination, epicenter of good life and equally a gastronomic temptation, overlooks one of the most beautiful seafront areas in Kalamaria and occupies a historic Art Deco Neoclassic building on the corner of 105 Nikolaou Plastira str & Miaouli str. The restaurant has been owned by Mrs. Marialena Miliara and Mr. Spyros Simeonidis since December 2017.

The entrepreneurs transformed their life dream, vision and firsthand experience into reality with an old mansion of exceptional architecture. Thereby, they combined the neoclassical architecture of the building with a contemporary ambience of high aesthetics, thus, offering to the residents and visitors of Thessaloniki a unique gastronomic experience and an unforgettable journey into the world of The Aficionados which will be a reference point.

The restaurant in the winter season spreads over three levels as a theatrical scene.

On the ground floor, is the wine bistro, where you can taste a great variety of exceptional & fine wines from international and Greek wineries, personally selected by the owner, a world traveller and good life lover, to pair and enhance the flavors of the dishes in a unique way. In the same place you can choose premium Cuban cigars from the elegant cabinet of the wine bar.

On the first floor you can enjoy fine dining prepared by the award-winning chef Dimitris Pamporis who creates for you delicious dishes with love and passion for gastronomy.

The airy Champagne & Cocktail bar restaurant is on the last level were you can enjoy aged champagne and signature cocktails by the prizewinning bar specialist Aristoteles Papadopoulos.

Dimitris Pamporis is an award-winning chef who despite being in his early thirties has been active in the field of gastronomy for almost fifteen years now.
Inspired by the variety and wealth of the Greek cuisine, Dimitris Pamporis has been working consistently with one vision in mind: to modernise the culinary delights of Greece by using local products and his imagination. This unique approach has won him a variety of awards, including a Chef’s Golden Cup award for his work at Treehouse restaurant and a Greek Cuisine award for Bubo.
Promoting Greek cuisine internationally, Dimitris Pamporis has been a guest chef at Red Bull’s Ikarus restaurant in Austria and has worked alongside Marc Haeberlin and his three Michelin star-awarded restaurant Auberge de l’Ill.
As his philosophy couldn’t be closer to ours, you are all invited to try his unique, Greek-inspired creations.
